Graston Technique (GT)
What is GT?
Graston Technique is a therapeutic method for diagnosing and treating disorders of the skeletal muscles and related connective tissue. The method employs a collection of six stainless steel tools of particular shape and size, which we use here at F3 to palpate patients’ bodies in order to detect and resolve adhesions in the muscles and tendons.
Graston Technique offers many advantages and benefits for the patient including:
- Decreased overall time of treatment
- Fosters faster rehabilitation/recovery
- Reduces need for anti-inflammatory medication
- Resolves chronic conditions thought to be permanent
